Clothing flash sale raises funds for defibrillator

The Hudson Group is conducting a flash sale of branded clothing stock, with 50% of all sale proceeds going towards lifesaving equipment for the local community.
Following the collapse and resuscitation of Danish footballer Christian Eriksen, we want to provide a new defibrillator for a local sporting organisation.
Defibrillators shock the heart of someone in cardiac arrest, restoring the heartbeat and giving medics critical time to work on the patient before he or she is admitted to a hospital. But there are many places, particularly where people play sport, where they are not available.
Anyone purchasing from our branded clothing sale – please visit the special sale page here – will know that 50% of their money will be going towards at least one of these amazing devices. You could help save someone’s life.
Choose your purchase
When we get overstocked with clothing, we’re happy to pass on some savings to our valued customers. You will find various lots on the sale page, but hurry – when it’s gone, it’s gone!
There are plenty of bargains to choose from. For example, grab 20 large black Gildan T-shirts, including your logo embroidered or printed on the left breast, for just £70 + VAT. We will donate half of that towards our defibrillator.

Hudson Group Marketing Communications Manager, Jo Day said: “Like everybody else, we were shocked at what happened to Christian Eriksen at the European Championships. There was widespread relief when we heard the medical procedures on the pitch had saved his life.
“Many of us here keep active and take part in sports locally, so we decided it was a good idea to purchase a defibrillator and donate it to a community sporting group. It’s amazing how such a small, relatively low-cost piece of kit can save someone’s life. It really got me thinking, how we can help our local community and 'come together' to make a difference.
“Running a flash sale of clothing stock is a good way to do it – our customers get some bargains, and we happily take 50% of the price and put it towards the charity fund.”
Defibrillators can cost up to £1,500, but Hudson Group is confident of raising enough through the sale – and who knows, perhaps we can buy two.
