It’s time to launch our latest Hudson Community initiative, giving your business a super opportunity to enjoy team building while raising cash for charity.

Challenge #TeamHudson invites 20 businesses to join us at the Orwell Challenge on Sunday, June 23. Formerly known as the Orwell Walk, this event, in its 47^th year, is a significant date in the Suffolk charity calendar.

Participants get to walk (or run) around a beautiful and well-marshalled course following the banks of the River Orwell. Starting in Ipswich, you can complete the whole 25 circular miles or as few as three. The super fit can elect to complete a trail, half, or even ultra marathon route.

As part of Challenge #TeamHudson, our 20 local businesses, who must sign up a minimum of 10 entrants, will be motivated to raise as much cash as possible. We’ll be presenting trophies for:

The team with the biggest number of participants
The team raising the most money
The team with the quickest time (if running the 25-mile course)

Please contact us if you wish to join our challenge. We will coordinate entries, which will cost you £18 per person. So, only £180 if you have a team of 10 – that’s peanuts for a great team-building day in the beautiful Suffolk countryside.

Note that while Rotary has its own chosen charities, your business can elect to raise money for any charity you choose.

Giving Back

Challenge #TeamHudson is the second of our Hudson Community campaigns. Last month, we gave away hundreds of hi-vis vests to good causes.
