Reflecting on a rewarding 2023

We know it’s a cliché, but really, where does the time go? As John Lennon sang, it’s another year over, and a new one just begun.

And what a year it’s been. Tough business conditions have hampered many, but we relish the challenge and try to seize the opportunities around us.

We’re lucky that in our line of work, we never quite know what project will come up next. No two jobs are the same. One day, we’re completing another quality signage display for Ipswich Town FC; the next, we’re making and fitting signs at a new London restaurant for clothing brand Sidemen, which includes YouTube sensation, boxer, musician and entrepreneur KSI!

Talking of ITFC, what the club is achieving on and off the pitch right now is nothing short of incredible. Hudson Group is proud to play a small part in the club’s transformation, and you can see our work all over the stadium, including the tunnel area, which looks fantastic and must be intimidating for visiting teams.

2023 saw us continuing our relationships with regular clients like Hollywood Bowl, Ready Steady Store, Boxx Storage, and many more. We thank each and every one of our customers for their continued trust in our signage solutions and our promo workwear and merchandise.

Skill and care

But of course, our biggest thanks go to our staff. They continue to go above and beyond, working with skill and care across the business.

A special thanks, too, to our sister company, Regent Publicity. The team there must take great credit for another fantastic year after the difficult period during and after COVID.

So, what about 2024? We have many exciting plans, including some new local business community initiatives that we’ll tell you more about in the coming months.

Finally, before we wrap up for the year (we close at 5pm on December 22 and reopen at 8.30am on January 2), a word from our managing director, Steve Flory: “All of us here at Hudson Group wish you a merry Christmas and a happy new year.

“While we love working in and on our business, life is nothing without family and friends, so enjoy your time with them over the festive period.
